Evidence of by-gone railroad days linger in the center of town as a former US Dept of Defense Hospital Car, built for the US Army in 1945, now serves as our historic Railroad Museum. Today...it serves food for thought of our historical past. Donated by the U.S. Army Transportation Corps in 1976, it was revitalized by area civic groups soon after. It first saw service as our library for many years, and was recently dedicated as our museum. Featuring only local memorabilia from our railroadin' past, it's sure to please the avid enthusiast.
